Right of Centre and the litany of agendas

Hey guys! We understand right of centre politics.

It sucks. It tells us, the other guys who do not stand on the “right” are always wrong.

It happened with the left. Look where the left is. Left off, in the wilderness of time. Now, the right has marched up. So, why? What’s the bigger agenda?

India with Modi has an agenda that I can decipher. It is the RSS agenda. India back to its Hindu roots. Convert the Political thought, education, policy and world agenda to suit the Hindu governance. Thus far it is fine, but belittling everyone who’s not aligned. Calling names. Getting prickly about secularism and moderate thought. That is a major thumbs down. It just won’t march past the development agenda that the nation wishes to see.

So, I sense major clashes coming up. Some down on the street and dirty. Some through media led frenzies.

It has already begun.

We see nearly the same happening in USA now. Only that, Trump, unlike Modi, is a lot more dense and therefore will be led rather than doing the leading. So, the agenda could be anything as scenarios emerge. It is like that rocking cart that has decided to rock itself and can go anywhere and do anything.

The ride shall be rough. Like Duterte in Philippines. Some of it may be unpalatable too. The constitution shall be ignored. Lawmakers will be trashed. Regularly. On camera and in Social Media.

Eventually, even if very late, people will see through all this. The world shall shift a bit. It may not be a world order led by one nation then. Who knows.

Only one thing is certain. These are not pleasant times for the world. The moderates have to speak or write. Sanity should be brought in many countries. India is halfway there, by presenting credible opposition in many states, to the right of centre thought. Thereby forcing moderation on the very thought.

The State cannot push its way through everywhere. People will find ways to get out of the discomforting embrace of the state.

More power to such people!
